STIG ble signert til Universial Music/Sonet i en alder av 19 år med bandet Daisy`s Dead. Turnerte noen år i Europa med Tellus Requiem før han en solrik dag kom breibeint ut av pop-skapet med kassegitaren og sang "I Go" med sin rungende vakre falsett.
STIG NERGÅRD er en poprock/singer-songwriter med lang og bred erfaring. Han har studert flamenco-musikk, hvilket farger og preger hans unike gitarteknikk. Aalberg Audio er en av mange som har latt seg imponere, og inngikk sponsoravtale sommeren 2016.
Man blir raskt fascinert av hans fantastiske, kraftige og særegne stemme som tidvis, men vakkert, bærer preg av tiden som heavy.metal gitarist/vokalist som bringer frem toner til gåsehud med sin aldeles vakre falsett, på ett nivå få behersker.
2017 blir ett spennende år. Blant annet er Stig "main-act" i en kommende dokumentar. Uten å kunne røpe for mye, kan det nevnes at han også arbeider med anerkjente produsenter både i Norge og USA. Stig Nergård. Legg navnet på minnet.
