Duo Vardøg består av sangeren Inger Øvrebø Uberg og cembalisten Nikolai Endresen Dahl. I konsertprosjektet “O,Maria!” fremfører duoen musikk skapt av kvinner i den tidlige barokkens Italia. Den hellige Maria var et av få sterke, kvinnelige forbilder da, og mange kvinner skrev musikk til Marias ære. Komponistene Barbara Strozzi, Francesca Caccini, Claudia Sessa, Lucrezia Vizzana og Chiara Cozzolani er representert i konserten “O, Maria!”.
Kirkemusikk skrevet av kvinner i tidlig barokk er dessverre fortsatt lite kjent. Religionen bidro til undertrykkingen av kvinner i barokken, men var også en sterk inspirasjon til deres kunst. Kirkemusikkarven etter barokkens kvinner fortjener å løftes fram i lyset og spilles for det norske publikum.
Kvinnelige spor i Musikkhistorien inviterer til en helt spesiell konsertopplevelse lørdag 18. februar.
Mye av musikken man får høre da er mest sannsynlig aldri tidligere fremført i Norge!

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
