Description
Cocktail Slippers er et fargerikt band, både når det gjelder musikk og sceneopptredener. Rock og garasjepoprock med harmonier og catchy refrenger er beskrivende for musikken jentene spiller.
Bandet har de siste årene gjort en rekke TV-opptredener, blant annet NRK Rockheim Hall Of Fame (hyllest til Inger- Lise Rypdal), TV2 Senkveld, NRK1 Melodi Grand Prix, TV2 God Morgen Norge (Show Em’Good 2014, Castle In The Sand 2014, Shame On Me 2014). NRK1 Sommeråpent (Soul Salvation Of Love 2012, Turn Your Lights Down Low 2014, Sola Skinner 2014), TV2 Gullruten, TV2 Norway Cup, NRK1s lørdagsprogram Litt av et liv, Live på TV Norge hos Fam, NRK1 Popstokk, sak på NRK Dagsrevyen fra studio. Bandet var også med i TV-serien Lilyhammer på NRK.

De siste årene har Cocktail Slippers turnert hyppig i USA, senest høsten 2015. Bandet har blitt invitert to ganger til South By South West Festival i Austin, Texas. To ganger til prestisjefestivalen ”Hard Rock Calling” i Hyde Park, London (i 2010 med blant annet Paul McCartney og i 2012 med artister som Iggy & the Stooges, Soundgarden, Bruce Springsteen og Paul Simon).
I Norge har jentene spilt på festivaler som Øyafestivalen, Mini-Øya og varmet opp for ZZ Top under Notodden blues festival.
I 2009 slapp bandet albumet «Saint Valentine’s Day Massacre» som ble produsert av Little Steven. Det siste albumet «People Talk» ble sluppet i 2014, utgitt av Universal Music i Norge. I USA og i resten av verden på Wicked Cool Records, selskapet til Steven Van Zandt. De siste årene har jentene fått mye spilletid på amerikansk radio. Ved flere tilfeller har Cocktail Slippers’ låter blitt kåret til The Coolest Song inn the World på The Underground Garage.
