Kunst, skam, homofili og en god dose kjærlighet.
Som en Ebenezer Scrooge, blir den nasjonalromantiske moralfilosofen, Immanuel Kant konfrontert med fortidens synder, når Vermeerforfalskeren, Han Van Meegeren dukker opp i hans værelse midt på natten i form av et spøkelse.
Kant befinner seg plutselig i en uungåelig situasjon hvor han blir nødt til å ta stilling til en feilslått tolkning av “kunst” og til sine forbudte, homoerotiske lengsler, som taler imot hans samtid, filosofi og kristne livssyn.
Dette er et stykke som dekker de relevante tematikker idag, og som bryter med filosofi-elitens syn på Immanuel Kant. En indre konflikt melllom det borgelige, kristne livssyn og de mer primære, mennesklige impulser er et stort emne som følger hele stykket fra start til slutt.
Organiser
Kunstsenteret TBS Gallery viser utstillinger med skulpturer, malerier og tegninger av den 82 år gamle billedkunstneren Tore Bjørn Skjølsvik. Galleriet som åpnet den 19. mai 2019, presenterer ulike utstillinger og inviterer til spennende kulturelle sammenkomster.
