Description
Austin Lucas vokste opp i Bloomington, Indiana i USA. Som sønn av produsenten og låtskriveren Bob Lucas, mest kjent for sitt samarbeid med Alison Krauss, ble det tidlig klart at Austin kom til å ende opp som musiker selv.
Etter flere år i ulike band ga han i 2006 ut sitt første soloalbum The Common Cold. Etter utgivelsen av albumet A New Home in the Old World i 2011 ble han invitert med på turné av countrystorhetene Willie Nelson og Jamey Johnson.
Hans to siste album, Stay Reckless(2013) og Between The Moon & The Midwest(2016) har høstet strålende kritikker i både USA og Europa. I mai avslutter han vårens turné i USA før han innleder Europa-turneen, som består av konserter i storbyer som Stockholm, Berlin og København.
