Yeah, that's right!
We Take Requests Trio are inviting FIVE saxophones to play an epic concert at Antikvariatet on the 31st of May. In search of the 1940s big band-sound, bandleader Eskild Okkenhaug is gonna arrange and compose the entire concert in about three weeks time, sort of like a self-imposed arrangers marathon. He is particularly inspired by Benny Goodman, Ray Noble, Duke Ellington, Aaron Matson and Nelson Riddle, and promises an evening you wouldn't want to miss!
We Take Requests Trio burning swinging beat, coupled with Okkenhaug´s melodic and lyrical arranging is going to fill Antikvariatet with a romantic and joyous atmosphere. You´ll also hear five of the greatest saxophone players in Norway teaming up and supporting each other.
