Balkesalen med veggmaleriene danner utgangspunktet for denne kammermusikkaften av det sjeldne. Den særegne fargepaletten som går igjen i Peder Balkes malerier inspirerte komponisten Morten Gaathaug til å skrive et kammermusikkverk for dype strykere. Hans strykekvartett nr. 9 i besetning to bratsjer, cello og kontrabass ble urfremført på Balke senteret i selveste Balkesalen 15. september i fjor.
En annen stemme som spiller på den varme, mørke og intensive strykerklangen er Johannes Brahms. Strykekvintett i G-Dur opus 111 er skrevet i hans siste livsepoke og står som en hyllest til livet. Vi vildele noen betraktninger rundt den tidsånden Balke og Brahms levde i. Vi utforsker koblinger mellom visuell kunst og musikk og – hva er det som stadig berører oss i kunsten av de gamle mesterne?
I tillegg til komponist og forteller Morten Gaathaug vil du møte musikerne Joakim Røbergshagen og Julianna Okstad fiolin, Einy Langmoen og Angelika Karsrud bratsj, Ingvild N. Sandnes cello og Erlend Skei bass. Alle er tilknyttet Orkester Innlandet.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your Tidsånd tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your Tidsånd tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

I wish to cancel my Tidsånd ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?
The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
