2015 så konseptet “Telegraph Road – A Tribute to Mark Knopfler & Dire Straits” dagens lys. Idèen til dette
prosjektet kom opp da Mark Knopfler skulle spille på Sverresborg i Trondheim (Juni 2015). GEB var innleid for å spille
“Knopfler Nachspiel” – på Olav`s Pub etter konserten på Sverresborg. Dette ble en stor suksess, og konseptet ble
etter hvert så bra at bandet bestemte seg for å gjøre eksklusive “Tribute-konserter” i tillegg til annet materiale.
Bandet har nå reist rundt med sitt tribute-prosjekt i snart 8 år. Naturligvis er det spilt mest i Trøndelag, - men
konseptet er også presentert på Østlandet, Møre/Romsdal og i Nord-Norge med veldig gode tilbakemeldinger.
Telegraph Road spiller mange av de gamle klassikerne fra Dire Straits, pluss en god del stoff fra Mark Knopfler`s
fantastiske solo-karriere . Sommeren 2019 var GEB innleid for å spille tribute på Rootsfestivalen i Brønnøysund.
“Superlativene stod i kø”, og anmelderen hos Brønnøysunds Avis ga bandet terningkast 6 etter opptredenen.
