VAN PAERSA presenterer her historien til en av verdens mest markante bluesmusikere, John Lee Hooker. En reise i ord og toner gjenom et særpreget musikalsk landskap. John Lee Hooker døde i 2001, og etterlot seg en betydelig produksjon av bluesmusikk. Mange moderne bluesmusikere som f.eks John Mayall, Peter Green og Eric Clapton m.fl. hadde John Lee Hooker som forbilde.
VAN PAERSA er et prosjekt satt sammen av rutinerte nord-norske musikere fra forskjellige bluesband og består av følgende:
Tor Børre Kristiansen, vocal, gitar og harpe.
Knut Einar Pedersen, bass.
Thorfinn David Jenssen, trommer.
Tor Dahl, gitar, vocal.
VAN PAERSA leverer en aften fylt av bluesens historie dominert av soundet fra John Lee Hooker samt, flere egne og andres låter.
