Plantefargingskurs i Folkeparken
Trine Storjord fra Kvaløysletta Husflidslags holder foredrag og plantefargingskurs for voksne søndag 6.august i Folkeparken. Her vil hun bruke blant annet løkskall og bjørkelauv til fargingen. Det vil i hovedsak være kursholder som illustrerer fremgangsmåter.
Trine har drevet Vartofargeriet på hytten i Lyngen siden 2014. Her farger hun garn og ullstoff med materialer og planter hun finner i naturen rundt samt indigopulver for de blå fargetonene som ikke finnes i naturen her.
På hytten har hun ikke innlagt vann eller strøm, derfor bruker hun oppsamlet regnvann og fyrer ute i en gammel bryggeovn. Hun bruker sin kjemiske bakgrunn fra yrkeslivet til å optimalisere prosessen slik at hun får skarpe fine farger på garnet.
Kl: 12:00-15:00. Oppmøte Kvaløyvegen 38, foran Kvitnesgården.
Billetter på kjøpes på forhånd, begrenset antall plasser.
Organiser
Et besøk på Perspektivet Museum gir fortellinger med utgangspunkt i Tromsø, men også fra andre steder i verden. Tanken er å gi kunnskap og undring rundt det å være menneske med et utsiktspunkt fra nord. Du møter historiske gjenstander, spor fra samtiden, foto og ulike kunstuttrykk.
