«På line over livet» er den andre og siste delen av historia om Olav Bjelland og hans kamp for å halda hovudet over vatnet.
Om lag seks år har gått sidan Olav Bjelland i psykotisk tilstand sjokkerte heimbygda si med ei frykteleg ugjerning. Etter lang tids opphald på ulike institusjonar, prøver Olav å koma tilbake til samfunnet. Men han strevar framleis med å finna sin plass i verda.
Doktor Amundsen er anerkjend som ein av dei store ekspertane innan humanistisk psykologi, men han manglar framleis ei storbragd for å bli skriven inn i historiebøkene. Så dukkar det plutseleg opp ein svært uvanleg pasient på klientlista hans.
Med håp om å hjelpa Olav sitt innfløkte sinn, viklar Amundsen seg inn i eit spesielt forhold som får konsekvensar for både privatlivet og karrieren hans.
«På line over livet» har tilrådd aldersgrense 12 år, grunna innhald med opprivande tematikk knytta til vaksenlivet, mellom anna samlivskonflikter, sterke kjensleutbrot, tidsvis grov dialog og nokre kortvarige valdsinnslag og andre skremmande element.
Organiser
Hjelmeland Teater vidarefører teaterarva etter Hjelmeland Teaterlag (1983–1998), Hjelmeland Samfunnshus og Teaterlag (1999–2017) og Hjelmeland Ungdomsteater (2013–2017).
Barneteateret og Ungdomsteateret samlast til faste øvingar kvar veke, og viser to–tre framsyningar i løpet av året. Elles set Hjelmeland Teater opp revyar, komediar, musikalar eller andre mindre framsyningar, der dei vaksne skodespelarane våre får visa seg fram.
