We have received registrations from 16 groups to have booth places or/and participate in 1 to 4 contents of the Culture Day so far. We are still receiving registrations. Each culture can have several groups participating in different contents of the Culture Day, if one group doesn't take part in all the contents. In the costume show, each country can have 1-5 representatives to present your traditional costumes. Please register with us your program as soon as you can so we can prepare better for the show. The festival is organized at Mamorsalen (The Marble Hall)- the biggest convention hall at Sentralen which can contain around 800 people with a nice design and perfect sound system. To help the event well-organized, we have set a ticket system with a litmited number of tickets, so grab yours as soon as possible!

12:00: Doors opened to receive visitors
At each culture’s booth
12:00-17:30
– Culture display: information, food, games, art workshops
*Special art workshop: An Indian group offers warli drawing workshop (all free) for children which teaches them to draw warli images. “Kids can come and try to draw warli images, colour a warli image, make a simple warli greeting card using colorful construction paper and bookmarks with warli images”.
Main stage:
12:30-13:30: Art performances by representatives from each culture (songs, music and dances)
– Chinese choir
– Halling Dance (Norway)
– Latvian traditional dance
– Bamboo-stick dance (Vietnam)
– Indonesian folk dance
- Korean Song
- Indian Kids’ dance

13:30- 14:30: Food presentation with samples to taste from each country
14:30-15:00: Games
– Hat-kick game (The winners will get gifts from the organizers)
Rules: All visitors can participate in the game. You have to try to kick the hat that is hung on a pole held by one of our members. You have 2 minutes to play the game. If you can kick the hat, you will get a gift.
– Pillow fight on the “bridge”. (The winners will get gifts from the organizers)
Rules: All visitors can participate. Two contestants compete each time. You have to use a pillow we provide to “fight” each other while you are standing on a “bridge”. To win this game you have to make the other person fall off the “bridge”. The winners also get gifts from the organizers.
