Killer Kid Mozart
Born out of the restlessness only a small sleepy town in Norway can offer, began the idea of a band that mixes strong melodic flair, noisy guitar lines and raw energy in a delicious wholemeal porridge. Killer Kid Mozart began in a basement room wallpapered with posters of old and new indie heroes like Dinosaur Jr., Sonic Youth and Japandroids, when frontman Hallvard Bonden was still in high school. With the praised debut "For the Night", they marked themselves an exciting band in the Norwegian underground.
After a few years of gigging around Scandinavia, and at pretty much all of Oslo's rock venues, the four piece have evolved into a tight living rock-organism, and together with Morten Øby in Taakeheimen Lydrike studio they’ve tried to capture this on a piece of vinyl. "There's A Psycho Behind the Wheel" is a half-hour hormonal and anxious journey through childhood memories, the juvenile pursuit of identity and a dramatic kidnapping. Out April 2021.
