MARIANNA MARTINES
Det er ikke mange som har hørt om Marianna von Martines (1744-1812). Hun var en dyktig sanger og pianist, og har etterlatt seg en betydelig produksjon av vokalmusikk; både konsert-arier og messer, samt verker for klaver.Hennes familie delte leilighet med forfatteren Pietro Metastasio i Wien. J. Haydn bodde på loftet, og komponisten og sanglæreren Nicola Porpora bodde der også en periode. Hun spilte angivelig firhendig med Mozart, og fikk vie sitt liv til musikken, takket være en generøs arv fra hoffpoeten.På denne konserten blir dere tatt med inn i Alte Michaelerhaus i Wien på 1760-tallet, og utøverne setter Martines’ musikk i sammenheng med en ung Joseph Haydn.
