Vi opprettholder tradisjonen med fest på lokalet her på Vestresand. Som vanlig legges den til lørdagskvelden og holdes på ungdomshuset. Aldersgrense 18 år.
I år har vi engasjert Duo Dynamics med base i Sortland til å spille for oss. Gitarist og vokalist Remi Kristiansen og vokalist Anne Berit Andersen bør være kjent for mange. Gjennom sitt rikholdige repertoar vil de garantert få det til å riste i dansefoten og skape god stemning på festen!
Her bør man være ute i god tid for å sikre seg billett!

Vestresand og omegn grendelag drifter bygdas store forsamlingshus - Haukland ungdomshus. Et staslig lokale hvor det avholdes konserter, bryllup, lokale arrangementer, bursdager m.m.
Bygda ligger i Vestvågøy kommune helt ute i havgapet og har i all tid vært en stor fiskeribygd.
