Marianne Engebretsen vokste opp på vestkysten av Norge, omgitt av havet og skiftende klima. Det har satt spor og inspirert på samme vis som en bred jazz, R & B og Soul platesamling. Resultatet er hennes egen svevende, inderlige og fengende pop.
I 2022 er det syv år siden Marianne Engebretsen sang seg til semifinale og favorittstempel i The Voice på TV2. Siden har hun virkelig svart fra seg og levd opp til forventningene om en lys fremtid og artistkarriere. Med singlene Summerdays og Skeleton skrur hun forventningen enda høyere rundt albumet som kommer snart.
