Tilbake på Flekken! Jace Everett fra lille Evansville i Indiana, USA er nok for oss nordmenn mest kjent for monsterhiten “Bad Things” fra TV-serien True Blood, men han er også kjent for å være en fantastisk dyktig liveartist som gir av seg selv hvert eneste sekund på scenen både musikalsk og gjennom dialog med publikum, noe han for øvrig beviste da han spilte på Flekken i Oktober 2014!
Jace flyttet som barn til Fort Worth, Texas og siden til Nashville, Tennessee, noe man tydelig kan høre i artistens musikk. Han spiller en herlig blanding av sugende blues, svingende rockabilly og fengende sørstatsrock, ispedd noen countrytakter – alt bundet sammen av en mørk stemme som gir assosiasjoner til både Chris Isaak og Nick Cave. Han har besøkt Norge jevnlig de siste årene, og stadig flere blir oppmerksomme på hvilken glimrende sceneartist han er.
I tillegg til Jace Everett, kommer også ‘pappa-bandet’ Cruising for Burgers! Disse gutta er lokale kjenninger av Flekken som igjen og igjen kan garantere for en knallkveld for voksne mennesker som liker country-rock, øl, vin og godt selskap. Vi gleder oss!
