Hege Øversveen er en artist med lang fartstid innen americana, country, pop og rock.
Karrieren startet for fullt i 2012 hvor hun markerte hun seg som finalist i den første sesongen av The Voice. Så kom debutalbumet "You Don't Know Me". Dette lå 7 uker på VG-lista og ble i avisa Klassekampen omtalt som ”et av de åtte beste norske albumene i 2013.
I 2018 ble hennes andre album ”goodbye yellow roses”, nominert til Spellemann i kategorien country.
Musikken ligger i et melodiøst grenseland mellom pop, rock og nettopp country – hun har en unik formidlingsevne og energi på scenen som virkelig treffer publikum.
Fredag 24. mars kan du oppleve henne og det solide bandet hennes på Retro for første gang.
