Gruveåsen i Funkelia er full av spennende kulturminner, vakker natur, dammer, gruver og renner. Nå kan du bli med kjentmannen og mannen bak mye av dugnaden i Gruveåsen på en guidet tur i gruveåsen. Du vil blant annet være innom Funnstedet / gruva og Korset, før vi følger Sølvverkets «Takrennesystem» som Opprinnelig besto av ca. 50 kunstige dammer og 50 km med oppmurte vannrenner som samlet opp og ledet driftsvann til vannhjulene som drev pumper og malmheiser i gruvene. Arbeidet med dette startet opp på slutten av 1600-tallet og fortsatte utover 1700-tallet. Området vi skal bevege oss rundt i, er så å si urørt etter driften på 1700 tallet. Langs denne veien vil vi stoppe ved flere av de historiske kulturminnene. Det vil bli en matpause på en av de mange rasteplassene dugnadsgjengen har laget.
