Gaute Heivoll er en av våre store forfattere som siden debuten i 2003 har utgitt en rekke bøker i mange sjangre. For sine utgivelser har han mottatt blant annet Brageprisen, Sørlandets litteraturpris.
Romanen «Dine ord» handler om en blind forfatter som har skrevet tolv bøker. Fram til nå er det konen hans som har skrevet ned fortellingene hans. Men ikke denne gangen. Han har leid en gammel gård og hyret en sekretær, en ung kvinne, og med hennes hjelp skal han skrive en ny bok.
Dine ord er et intenst og sanselig kammerdrama. Det er en roman om å gjøre det umulige, om å lytte seg fram til smertepunktet i sitt eget liv. Men fremfor alt handler den om selve fortellingens foruroligende makt.
