Som i desember 2014 laget det som ble tidenes norske afterskilåt "Pinne for landet", ett år etterpå slapp han 2015`s store julehit, "Hey ho"! Nå entrer han scenen på Onside på Tynset!
Freddy Kalas er tidligere kjent for å være sangeren bak Broiler sine afterski og partylåter; Vannski, Bonski og Afterski!
I 2014 slapp han "Pinne for landet" som soloartist, og den streamet seg rett inn på topplista på spotify, og toppet VG-Lista i 9 uker, før den fallt ned til 2. plass!
Jula 2015 slapp han "Hey Ho" som også klatret rett opp på topplista til både VG og spotify og ble kåret til årets store julehit!
