«Først blir man jo født» er en komedie om relasjoner og tilhørighet. Vi møter seks forskjellige personer med hver sine utfordringer i livet, alt fra dundrende migrene til isolasjon i egen stue. I møter og brudd mellom disse oppstår en filosofi om tråder som knytter oss sammen og noen ganger strammer så vi tror vi skal dø. «Først blir man jo født» er en rar, varm og nysgjerrig forestilling som tar opp både utfordringer og det vakre ved å være menneske i relasjon til andre mennesker.
