Under en gjenforening for ungdomsskolen reiser Anna seg og forteller om hvordan hun opplevde skoletiden. Historien om ni år med mobbing og utestenging vekker først sympati, men når Anna forsetter å konfrontere sine tidligere klassekamerater vokser irritasjonen.
Regissør og kunstner Anna Odell ble ikke invitert da skoleklassen hennes skulle feire sitt 20 års-jubileum. I filmen GJENFORENINGEN prøver hun å forestille seg hva det var de tidligere medelevene fryktet ville skje om hun hadde kommet på festen.
