Nowruz betyr ‘ny dag’ og er en nyttårstradisjon som feires av 300 millioner mennesker over hele verden (Svartehavsområdet, Balkan, Kaukasus, Vest-, Sentral- og Sør-Asia, og av Iran). Den er beskyttet som verdens immaterielle kulturarv av UNESCO: I samarbeid med våre søsterogranisasjoner inviterer vi NAYO dere til å oppleve Nowruz-stemningen i Oslo sammen med ulike Nowruz-feirende etniske grupper på Cosmopolite Hovedscenen 18. mars.
Markeringen er åpen for alle som ønsker å lære om en spennende nyttårstradisjon, bli kjent med nye mennesker og nyte skikkelig internasjonal atmosfære på Cosmopolite (Vogts gate 64, 0477 Oslo).

Nowruz means 'new day' and is a New Year's tradition celebrated by 300 million people worldwide (The Black Sea basin, the Balkans, the Caucasus, Western Asia, central and southern Asia, and by Iran). It is protected as the world's intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO. In cooperation with our sister organizations, we, NAYO, invite you all to experience the real Nowruz synergy together with Nowruz celebrating nations at Cosmopolite in Oslo on March 18th.
The celebration is open to anyone who wants to learn about an exciting New Year tradition, getting to know new people and enjoying a proper international atmosphere at Cosmopolite (Vogts gate 64, 0477 Oslo).
