Fredag 15. mars spiller Extol på Sub Scene!
Extol er et death metal-band fra Oslo, dannet i 1993. Gruppen fikk tidlig oppmerksomhet i ekstrem-metal-scenen for deres innovative blanding av intrikat, teknisk riffing, melodi, atonalitet og trosbaserte tekster.
Gjennom årene har Extol utfordret sjangeren og dratt inn elementer av progressiv rock, black metal, thrash og jazz fusion. Bandet har turnert verden over blant annet med storheter som Opeth og Mastodon.
I 2006 ble bandet nominert til Spellemannprisen for albumet «The Blueprint Dives». Det samme året ble bandet nominert til Golden Gods av Metal Hammer UK i kategorien «best underground band» sammen med Meshuggah, Mastodon og Behemoth.
Extol består i 2024 av Peter Espevoll, Christer Espevoll, Ole Børud og David Husvik.
I oktober 2023 slapp Extol EP’en «Labyrinth of Ill / Exigency», og gjør nå i kjølvannet av dette et knippe eksklusive konserter i Europa. Konserten på Sub Scene er den eneste i Skandinavia.
Livebesetningen i 2024 består av Ole Børud, Christer Espevoll, David Husvik, Tor Magne Glidje (Mantric, Lengsel), Elisha Mullins (Fleshkiller, The Burial).

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your EXTOL // Sub Scene tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
