Poeten, oversetteren, dramatikeren Arnljot Eggen fra Tolga leverte visetekster som svei og svir den dag i dag, mange år etter at de ble skrevet. Polemiserende, sarkastiske, lakoniske, ømme.
Jørn Simen og Lars har begge væpnet seg med dette materialet gjennom tidene; Jørn Simen med et eget album, Lars med innspillinger på langs av plateproduksjonen. Begge har hatt stor nytte og glede av å bruke disse velskrevne tekstene i konsertene sine.
Edvard Hoem hørte til en indre krets som også bestod av poeten Kolbein Falkeid, og vil kåsere om Eggen.
