MONOGRAF kombinerer på unikt vis post-rock med den mørkere delen av norsk folkemusikk og har satt seg fore å skape et norsk rockesound uten oppbrukte klisjeer
Våren 2019 slapp de plata ”Nadir”. Nadir betyr bunnpunkt. Plata er en lengre meditasjon over pengenes makt over oss. Nyter vi det? Tilber vi pengenes makt? Hva er konsekvensene? Jorda vår er liten, og den koker, og alt vi gjør har konsekvenser langt utover det vi selv ser. Alt skal gå fort og effektivt, men kan vi finne tilbake tålmodigheten? Finnes det verdier man ikke kan sette en pris på?
Felens forvrengte ljom over et desperat og øde musikalsk landskap maler disse bildene, men forteller oss også at det finnes håp. Det er stor variasjon i lydbildet; tyngre låter med mektige crescendoer og forløsninger, men også nære og nedstrippede låter der teksten havner i fokus.
