Det Oslo-baserte rockebandet KitFai er endelig klar med ny musikk – og 11. desember spiller de på Sub Scene!
Bandet befinner seg trygt på den melodiøse siden av rockelandskapet. De store lydbildene, de forløsende refrengene og de melankolske undertonene henter tydelige referanser fra dagens pop.Nylig slapp de singelen “Looking For The Sun”, som er en direkte og hardtslående låt som handler om å finne tilbake til noen man har mistet. En slags “the one that got away”-historie.3. desember kommer singel nummer to; «Out of Time». Den handler om hvordan tiden flyr forbi oss og hvordan minner vitrer og forsvinner. Låta er mer nostalgisk og emosjonell enn første singel, men beholder likevel «rocke-drivet» som hører til sjangeren.Dette er den andre singelen fra det kommende albumet “Ways Of Letting Go”, som er produsert og innspilt av Roar Nilsen i Nabolaget Studio i Oslo. Musikken ble laget og spilt inn mens verden var i unntakstilstand gjennom 2020 og 2021. KitFai sin nye singel, “Looking For The Sun”, bygger videre på fundamentet fra tidligere utgivelser, men bandet fremstår nå som mer raffinerte, organiske og direkte.

KitFai ble dannet i 2013, inspirert av musikk medlemmene vokste opp med på starten av 2000-tallet. I 2018 slapp bandet sitt første album, «The Things You Left Us». Låter fra albumet fikk blant annet spilletid hos NRK P3 og P13, og ble tatt med i New Music Friday på Spotify. Musikken til KitFai har også blitt brukt i NRK-serien Unge Lovende.- «Dette er en imponerende debut som skiller seg klart ut fra det som ellers foregår her til lands for tiden.” – Wilhelmsens (The Things You Left Us, 2018)Siden oppstarten har KitFai fokusert på å spille live, både i inn- og utland. Av konserthøydepunkt nevnes festivaler som Slottsfjell, OverOslo, Pstereo og Skjærvafest, samt en to-ukers turné i USA sommeren 2018. Medlemmene i KitFai har fartstid fra band som Leprous, Shevils, Over the Trees, Psyence Fiction og Gribbene.

Support: PATHS
PATHS er et up and coming metalcoreband basert I Oslo. Bandet startet opp høsten 2021 og har på kort tid opparbeidet seg en lojal følgerskare, flere planlagte konserter rundt om i landet. For tiden godt i gang med å spille inn sin første EP.
Musikken er inspirert av noen av de mest innflytelsesrike sent 2000-talls metalcorebandene som Bring Me The Horizon, Bullet For My Valentine, og Asking Alexandria samt artister og band tilknyttet andre sjangere som Paramore, Tool og The Neighbourhood.
Medlemmene er kjent fra tidligere aktuelle i band som Filleproleteriatet, Falling Behind, og I Now Pronounce You.
Bandet består av: Christian Eide (gitar), Michael Ehrich (gitar), Sondre Nygaard-Andersen screaming vokal), Sam Inchley (bass), Daniel Valle (trommer), og Stine Marie Dahl-Johansen (vokal).

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
