Hans femte album «For Sånne Folk Som Dere...» kom 21. september i fjor og låtene «Dab» og «Trøstevise Til Therese Johaug» er kjente låter fra hans penn. Låta «Sølvgrå» lå halvannet år på norsklista til NRK P1+.
Det handler om ensomhet og kjærlighet. Om samfunnskritikk og hyllest. Om å tilgi sine foreldre, og om å sykle Birken for å slippe unna kona. Om regjeringens feilslåtte narkotikapolitikk, om å bli igjen alene med to små barn når den andre forsvinner. Om alkoholisme og forfall. Og oppreising.
Man aner inspirasjon fra både Lars Winnerbäck og Bob Dylan; Lillebjørn Nilsen og Pete Seeger; Gram Parsons og Ryan Adams.

Frode Johansen er den prinsippfaste artisten med integritet mot det kommersielle. Han er artisten med mange klassikere, men ingen hits. Han er en av dem som går de anonyme kjempers vei i kampen for norsk musikktradisjon. Han er en ærlig formidler og en fantastisk gitarist. Han har et trofast publikum, og egen fanklubb.

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
